The Quality Certification Program (QCP) has been available since 1995. This program has been recognized by architects, designers and specifiers as the authoritative source of guidance on fine architectural woodwork. It offers an increased level of consumer protection in architectural woodwork sections of construction documents The program allows designers and specifiers to include a total quality management mechanism for woodwork in project documents.
Formerly known as Woodwork Institute of California, or WIC, the Woodwork Institute serves Oregon, California, Nevada, and Arizona. The Woodwork Institute’s mission is to provide the leading standards and quality control programs for the architectural millwork industry through our Manual of Millwork, Certified Compliance, and Monitored Compliance Programs. By taking advantage of the Woodwork Institute’s quality control programs, the designer, project manager and project owner can have assurance that each and every detail will be crafted to the Institute’s exacting standards.
